Are these legit good products? Or are these just knock offs? I just might get one either way at that price it’s worth a shot. Religate it to training gear if it doesn’t work out.

They’re legit and they try hard but they’re definitely a tier 2 company. I wouldn’t put them in the same category as DeSoto, Roka, Kiwami, etc. When I re-entered the multi-sport scene in 2015 (after a seven year layoff), I purchased one of their one-piece suits to replace my circa 2005 TeamUSA two-piece. It was a decent suit for a decent price but I’ve since upgraded to (multiple) DeSoto suits.
They also “innovate” beyond clothing. I’m not sure all their innovations are really useful (at least for me, though possibly for others).
I do give them kudos for sponsoring the Max Performance races in the Boston area and giving $25 gift certificates to all podium placers(at least in 2015 and 2016). Also, I think if you buy from their website, first-time buyers can get a discount.

I asked a similar question in a thread today about an even cheaper suit today, this UglyFrog one. For $48 I think I am going to gamble.
I used the 2 piece kit for Timberman 70.3 last season. I have to say I really like the product. The shorts, pad and top were very comfortable. I never chaffed . Very impressed especially for the price point and the durability. Still using the shorts for my indoor rides and swim with no issues.
Much better bang for the buck especially when compared to the other brands.
I have been wearing their tri suits and compression socks for years and have not ever had a problem with anything. I actually like their stuff so much I applied to be one of their ambassadors.
