This is how my Dad gives directions. If we are travelling somewhere and we are meeting him, we always have to turn our cell phones off or he will call and give us directions. I keep trying to explain to him that we have a lot of success using Map Quest, but apparently that isn’t good enough.

when mr descender paul thomas (aka the jackeman) crashed 30 yards in front of me on the bike this past week, can you guess the first think i said to him when i caught up and rolled to a stop? BAM! (cold, perhaps, but i couldn’t help myself.)

We need him in the movies! OMG he is great-how about that “over the bridge” routine when the guy interurpts and he says “we can sing together but we can’t talk together” over the bridge…without missing a beat-and that great grin a the end----now that was priceless.

I’ll tell you one thing, Larry Williams missed his real calling. He appeared to give directions with a very relaxed jaw… Relax and then BAM!

Holy crap! I’m not sure when this was originally filmed, but my family lives 15 miles from where I think Larry and the guys behind the camera were and I know a lot of those landmarks. Spent most of my childhood in the Longview/Kilgore area. lol

Only in East Texas can you get directions that comprehensive. Imagine what kind of tour he would have taken them on if they said “Yeah…we’d like some p—y.”:

“I’ll tell you exactly where to get you some! You go straight down this here road to an intrasection. There’s the Piggly Wiggly on the right, across the street is an attorney of the law, across the street from there the Payless Cash Way, and down from there is the Exxon. Bam! You take that first right…”

I have worked up an appetite since watching this video all day long. Seeing that you know the town, can you let me know how to get to the place that has “all you can eat” for 4 dollars??? If not, I will cruise on over to 302 Brown Street and ask Larry, himself!
