Why is there a PayPal honey extension (jigsaw piece) in the url?
Literally can’t see what you’re talking about there to be able to try to start diagnosing it.
In your browser, to the right of the address bar, click the little gray jigsaw puzzle piece symbol. It shows you what extensions are active on a site.
I guess that user has one present.
I just opened mine and checked, and I do not have that extension active for Slowtwitch.
And I got nothing.
Why is there a PayPal honey extension (jigsaw piece) in the url?
That’s coming from your browser, not from this site.
Slowtwitch_URL_PayPal_honey_ext_P7896627/?page=unread#unread
.
thank you…
Slowtwitch_URL_PayPal_honey_ext_P7896627/?page=unread#unread
That is because the title of the thread is “Slowtwitch_URL_Paypal…”
Click on any thread, it’s title will be part of the URL.

This highlights one of the massive security flaws of Honey and similar addons.
Edit: What would you risk for free Honey? | Almost Secure (palant.info)
an interesting quirk of slowtwitch forum software is that it ignores the textual url slug and only parses the thread id.
eg
/Triathlon_Forum_F1/powercranks_changed_my_life_P7896627/
will resolve to this thread.
to wit:
You just had to use the PowerCranks thread…
There has to be something in our breadcrumbs that forces that over.
I’m gonna turn this over to Jordan, and move the thread over to the Development side.
