Slowman: Help!

I am being attacked by rabid naysayers.

No, when I cam back to my computer everytime I try to post something I am getting this and I am too old to deal with stuff like this:

A fatal error has occurred:Unable to index 1 posts in gforum_Post starting with id: 1368297. Error: Invalid command PING

it’s either my server on the blink, or andy coggan is f*&king with you. (i suspect the former, and my webhost is working on it).

Your trust of humanity is greater than mine.

Anyhow, regardless of what your server is saying, somehow these get posted anyhow.

I have noticed the same behavior as well.
Fred.

From Andy Coggan or the server?

Hey, its fixed!!!

I’ve been getting the same thing, but I thought it was the thunderstorm and the dial up modem demons causing the problem.

Actually, still getting it!!!

Not as of 8:46 EDT

Just which way is this ping going Slowman? I post through an ISP, so presumably you have my internet facing address. Who is initiating the ping to whom? This strikes me as a bit weird.

the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I was here first.

Hardly. I PM’ed him long before you posted this! (Let’s see if mine’s fixed as well…)

Yes, yes it is.

Thanks Dan.

I have been having the same issue the last day or two also. I think there is a new list.

Just hit refresh, and it works fine.

Dave

i get it too along with failed email notification of posts.

Must be the server. I can not do any searches. Both the SHOW ALL USERS POSTS and the ADVANCED search are not working.
