Slowman Help! techies too please

There were a couple of posts about Dan changing the server and people having trouble logging in. I have been unable to even get to the forum on my machine in IE. I can read it with Mozilla, but it won’t let me log in. I can register a new user with Mozilla, but it ignores my login just like my original. I get the log in screen and then it goes back to the main screen without logging me in. I am presently on a library computer under a new user name as I couldn’t log in under “Jim” here either. This is what made think I got “Banned” for some odd reason. I emailed Dan but given the probable volume of email he gets I doubt he has seen it. Help, I feel like I have been voted out of the “tribe”.

This happened to me and I have had no problem after renouncing my name, getting a new one which indicates my allegiance to the dark side of the force. Dan is in Texas practicing his dark sith arts, including wielding his new “Force Lightning” skillz.

But I liked being just “Jim”. And my home machine still won’t let me on.

You may be feeling the impact of Slowman’s decision to ban laderhosen from the site.

I promise to never post lederhosen again if allowed back home. Seriously this is most inconvienent I would appreciate some technical help.

Slowmans having problems too, he changed his screen name to Smartass, and he’s started terrorizing members.

Is your browser set to allow cookies? If not, no amount of logging in will succeed.

That let me log in on Mozzilla but IE will not even bring the forum up on my machine. If I try to log in as Jim on Mozilla it will blank the screen no matter what machinbe I am on. It is definetly a problem with my “Jim” account.

set privacy to default/medium, then reboot your machine

No joy, that is my current setting. Here is my IE error message:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I am having the exact same problem. Now I am risking losing my job by posting at work! Slowtwitch is that important to me! What do I doi?

Seriously, everything that comes from my computer and even my email address comes back with the same message you just copied. What a bummer.

I have ST set as my homepage and i get that message. If you want to log on at home use mozzilla, enable cookies on your internet settings and register a new screen name. I had to do this but would like to be able to use IE for this as I can’t post pics from firefox. I haven’t heard anything from Dan but he hasn’t posted lately either.
