Slow bike splits at Chicago Tri (sprint)

Anyone know what is up with the slow bike splits at the Chicago tri (sprint race)? My time is roughly right (within about 10-20 seconds), and is probably right on when you consider mount/dismount time. But my speed is listed at like 18.8 mph, which I know is WAY slow, as my bike computer read 21.5 mph. If their calculations are right, the bike course was only 12 miles long! By my computer, the bike course is short by a couple of miles (Like 13 miles or so), but I am sure it isn’t 12 mile long…

And to me, it seems that even the winners times are slow. The AG winners rode only 21 mph and change…not possible on a course that flat and fast…

Someone smoking crack at timberline timing?

I think they calculated with the wrong distance. my bike computer and bike time match for 22k but the pace they stated is definately off. I think this also happened last year.

I think they may have included one of the transitions in their bike leg pace calculations.
