Why does the everyday hydration product have almost double the sodium and quadruple the potassium as their exercise hydration products?
Shouldn’t this be the other way around?

Skratch is dropping that product as they realized the name is confusing.
Everyday is meant as in racing everyday at the tour. It is their original formula for their pro tour riders.
Why would they drop a product with more sodium and potassium in favor of one with much lower values? I dont think I am following the bouncing ball here.
How does it compare to Osmo? I have been using Osmo past few months…but the taste is, meh!
Exercise Hydration you are drinking 1-2 bottles per hour. So the electrolyte content of a bottle is designed for 1 hour of exercise.
Everyday Hydration is for everyday use to supplement the standard amount of water you drink in your normal routine. It is an everyday drink not an exercise drink.
We drink 4-5 bottles of water a day and it dilutes our electrolyte balance so you add a bottle of Everyday Mix to your daily hydration routine to keep electrolyte balance. Realistically if you sip the bottle throughout the day with your normal water bottles, that 3x sodium and 4x potassium is lasting the whole day instead of a single hour and is being diluted to normal levels by all the other water you a drinking the rest of the time.
It is designed for dehydration situations (when you first wake up, being sick, pre-hydrating for exercise etc.) so 1 maybe 2 bottles a day is enough (and it doesn’t have to be used every day). You are not supposed to use it as a drink in every single bottle you drink throughout the regular day.
(Added bonus, as indicated by their website, it’s good for hangovers too.)
They are not dropping the product, they are just limiting it to singles. I actually sell the stuff on my site. I still have a couple of pound bags left if you are interested, but have plenty of singles for purchase.
As stated above, they dropped the product because too many people were using all day-everyday. I am guessing there was some high blood pressure going on out there and they started to get complaints. That is pure conjecture on my part, as I have no idea what led to the cancellation of the pounds other than what they had sent out to us.
Personally, I use the Everyday Mix before long rides to hydrate prior to my rides as well as getting completely rehydrated after a really long ride. And as they state, it works wonders on hangovers (which I will get occasionally in the summer). Singles are a bit more expensive, but they are definitely worth having around.
Great info everyone!
