Not sure, but from the photo it look like the Skechers Razor 3, generally used by Lionel Sanders (again, a Lionel thread :-).
The Speed Elite (carbon plated), Razor 3 (no carbon plate) and Speed 6 (no carbon plate) look a bit similar, as you can see in this little Rolows film (the Speed 6 appear near the end) :
For the 2019 Ironman(s), Lionel Sanders usually wear the Razor 3, and Cody Beals the Speed Elite (zebra prototype, then pre-series), as seen in pictures, and confirmed by Cody in another thread.
But for Daytona, apparently Lionel used the Speed Elite, yes. It was a much shorter run. Not sure that he will do for 2020 Ironman(s).
I just got them and was greatly disappointed.
I love the Razor 3, they are a bit stiff, but work very well. Speed work, long runs. They just work.
The speed elite are amazingly light (lighter than the Razor 3 and the vaporflys) but stiffer than the Razor 3.
There is a pop from the carbon plate, but its nothing compared to the vaporfly (either version). just not the same feeling of springiness and energy return.
The upper is very similar to the one on the next%, super light. Does not hold the foot too well, but I could live with it if the sole was great.
Too bad, I was really hoping this shoe will be an improvement over the razor 3, but I guess the magic is with the super soft foam combined with the plate. Doesn’t work with stiff foam.
