I am intrigued as to how it helps warm up…like one of those medical icyhot burning patches, but cream form?
I grew up with in Europe and often get questions when people see me apply it. So in this case it was about me noticing that many folks don’t know it.
There are other products that do “similar” stuff, but many of them merely irritate the skin.
Sixtus has lots of other great products including a cool down oil, chamoix cream and many non sport products
Aaron, just like stuff like Tiger Balm, its an embrocation - I’ll wager its no different in that it uses menthyl, peppers and mare sweat to make your skin warm.
Sixtus is different in that its an oil and rubs in really well. It stays on the skin (ask any european rider how well it attracts dirt) and stays warm. Once you get used to it, you become addicted…to its smell, its feel and the dirty gloss it gives your legs.
I’m constantly amazed its not found everywhere here in the States.

Sorry, but after being a Sixtufit addict for years, I am now completely won over by Mad Alchemy’s embrocation. Their Warm is hot enough (I couldn’t even imagine what hot feels like)—in the rain & cold there is just nothing better. Did 60 up to Baldy today & it was about 40-45 by the lifts, and coming down, w/no knee warmers, my legs were warmer than my arms (arm warmers). In the rain its even better, and the tingle lasts for hours.
