Sister Madonna Buder is an icon in the sport and typifies the Ironman lifestyle. That is simply a great program. She has spread her positive energy through the sport and her own ministry. She remains one of the original Iron(wo)men going back well over a decade and has a long list of Ironman finishes.

If I am not mistaken, I believe she is approaching her '70’s as well, making her accomplishments and experience in the sport even more valuable.

She’s “approaching” her 80’s Tom, she’s 76, said so in the original post.

If I am doing half of what she is at that age I’ll be happy!!!
