Single Bottle Bracket behind ISM Saddle

I am looking for a light and simple single bottle setup to mount behind my ISM (PR2.0 40) saddle. I ride an '06 Cervelo P3 and the seat tube does not have the mounting screw like the newer models. If anyone has already solved I would appreciate feedback, thanks.

I have the same bike. I zip tied a profile design kage.

This should work. You should have two holes on the back of your seatpost. The XLAB Delta 300 is designed exactly for this purpose.

I have the same bike. I’ve used the XLAB unit that bolts to the seatpost holes, and I’ve used zip ties. In the end, I think the zip ties was the least-hassle and most aero option. BUT you have to get a bottle cage that keeps the bottle snug. I used an old trek batcage with an elastic lace to add tension.

Not sure how simple you want to go… but I rigged a single bottle directly to my Adamo saddle. (not zip tied below it) I drilled a hole through the back of the saddle and bolted a King Cage stem mount there. (these are $10 mounts that allow a person to replace their stem cap with this mount and attach a bottle cage to it. Anyway, the King Cage stem mount secures flush to my saddle. I took a regular bottle cage and added some extra lizard skins bar tape to the inside (absolutely no launched bottles yet). Best of all I can still use the Adamo transition lip to rack my bike. It’s been a very nice (and simple/cheap) set-up for me.

can you post a pic please?

I use the Specialized “reserve rack” attachment. It has worked great. Since the rails on my Adamo Road saddle are curved a bit, I had some issues getting the clamping mechanism to “bite” the rails firmly so that the rack wouldn’t slide. I resolved this by using a small amount of bar tape around the rails covered with electrical tape. This allowed the clamp to squeeze tightly and it won’t move now. The reserve rack also has the ability to add C02 cartridges and/or mini pump.

We have 3 models to choose from with your bike & saddle.

Mount to your seatpost - check out the Delta 300. Mounting is simple: 2 screws go into the 2 holes of your seat post.
Mount to your saddle rails: Delta 225 or Delta 425. Delta 225 is a nylon composite mount w/ 1 set cage position. The Delta 425 is an alloy mount with cage height, cage angle and carrier angle adjustments.

Got a Delta 425 with the Aero Pouch 300 on my Adamo Race 2 for IM Boulder.

Seems to be very solid, takes care of my flat kit and gives me capacity for another bottle for hot/dry races.
