Simon, I do not understand how this works. So, does this mean one can get into the AG nationals without qualifying by raising the 250 bucks?
You can then race to try to qualify for worlds via this route?

I am not sure what you mean. If you want to support the AFC charity you can donate a min of $10 and buy a raffle ticket. That will put you in line to win some cool product if you have a lucky ticket.
Where does qualifying for nationals comes into the equation?
Simon
Wow - Lessing is trolling Slowtwitch!!!
Man, I hope I win the ASICS shoes!! ; )
Sir Simon, I hope Lisa and the girls are doing well. Hopefully, we’ll see you in Boulder over the summer or maybe BSLT 70.3.
I went to the web site and it sounds like you register for AG nationals.

So, just wondering what this meant? This may be more ways to help raise money.

I see the confusion. Athletes For A Cure are involved with various events including Nationals.
The SL AFC charity is a separate entity.
But you can buy your tickets anyway!
Thanks
Simon

Simon…next time I try to say hi to you at IMLP in the bike transition - dont act like you dont hear me and look away. (like last time).
Are you sure it was me… I tend to blend in with most of the age groupers at that time of the morning.
The only thing that I distinctly remember about that race was that my legs hurt… a lot after the race and that I got a ticket for running a stop sign in our hire car the night before the race!
You were not racing, you were in transition after (during) the race talking to Graham - just giving you a hard time man - no worries.
Be fair to Simon, there is a language barrier you know!
Come on guys, let’s keep this on the front page. You must know someone with prostrate cancer. My dad had it and passed away far too soon.
Not trying to delay anybody signing up for this but when is the deadline to buy the raffle tickets?
***“…Are you sure it was me… I tend to blend in with most of the age groupers at that time of the morning…” ***
Do you mean you get way too serious about your anticipated bike split, double and triple checking your bike computer to make sure it has no raindrops on it (in fear that your power output might change), and are just about to do 100m running sprints on the track with just your bathing suit and heartrate monitor on as a warmup for that dash around the oval when you claim that elusive Kona slot, while the entire time, tuned out to friends and family trying to get your attention?
