Anyone seen a comparison of the top cycling helmets? I’m in the market for a new one, and would like to see a single source that showed the weight, fit, ventilation differences, etc. Plus, my old Giro was pretty “fat.” I’d like to see pictures to scale so you could tell how they were sized relative to eachother. Other than driving from shop to shop to get a look, has anyone seen a single comparison online anywhere?
I’m talking, obviously, about normal helmets, not aero helmets.
whats the circumference of your head and is it more round or narrow?
Head is between 22" and 23" (about 57cm). Normal shaped head, taller than it is wide, but no third arm growing out of it or anything.
I’ve been wearing an old Giro Boreas forever, and it looks kind of wide on me.
Specialized s-works helmet…I have the 2009 polka dot version. I like it…and works perfectly for sunglasses / ventilation.

I’ll second the Specialized S-Works. Fantastic helmet. It’s super light and once you have it on your hardly even notice that it is there. The ventilation is superb.
