Anybody else had this? After puking my guts out, and three days of non-stop sleep, I went to the doctor. He diagnoised my condition as a virus that causes a swelling of the inner ear. Thus, I have no f***ing balance. It’s like your worst hangover non-stop. Doc gave me some motion sickness stuff and said it would be a couple of days, but it’s been much longer. I gotta hit the slopes and ride my CT. This is tearing my ass out.

Oh I feel your pain. I had labyrinthitis a couple of times caused by allergies. Fortunately a high dose of antihistamines cleared it up within days. Did he give you any anti-inflammatories at least?? If you can keep it down, ibuprofen should help shrink the swelling. They make it in a suppository if you can’t keep it down…
Not the inner ear stuff but was puking my guts out and pissing out of my butt for the last 24hrs. In the name of science I stepped on the scale right before throwing up the first time. 76.6kg. In the morning after eight trips to the bathroom 71.2kg. Quite fun.

my girlfriend had the exact same thing. It hit her stomach first and then the rest. She didn’t have balance and fell unconscious on her way to the bathroom. Ambulance took her to the ER. It took about a week for her to get better. She also had to get IVs. Drink plenty of fluids and rest. Don’t overdue it and you’ll soon feel better.
