As IMFL approaches for me, I am working on fine tuning my race set up which will be different from my training set up due to training being unsupported. So I am asking myself, draft box or no draft box, speed box or no speed box, horizontal bottle between the aerobars or a vertical bottle such as Torhans or PD, XLab rear saddle mount or not. FYI, I run Zipp 606 clinchers with a powertap and plan on bringing two 3 hour bottles for nutrition if this makes a difference. I’d like to hear opinions and see pictures of your race set up. Thanks in advance.
I have still yet to see your SC! Post a pic?

I’ll post a pic next week when I have her prom dress on.

Crappy pic but I thought i’d contribute with my steed. This is the setup I used for a half I did earlier this month, except I only had 1 bottle cage on it. For Olympic distance races I run a Profile Design Razor aero bottle mounted on the seat tube. Next season I will be selling the Super-9 rear disc to get one with a powertap. Now that I have power for training, I gotta race with it too.

Nice looking 7 series! Can’t tell from the pic but where do you keep your extra tube(s), CO2 cartridge and inflator? So you did the 1/2 with only 1 cage? How did that work out with nutrition?

Since I run tubies, and I like feeling like a pro, I don’t ride with any sort of flat repair. Its probably stupid but hey its all about having fun. As for the 1 cage, I start the ride with my own bottle with preferred nutrition, then at the aid stations, I throw the bottle and pick up a gatorade or water bottle from the aid station. I find I only need that much liquid. For food, I tape 3 Gu’s onto the top tube, and a half of a Hershey bar. Makes for a very clean set up that gets the job done.
Amazing! If the title of this thread was “Show me your Cervelo P2/3/4 IM or 1/2 IM Race Set Up” I’d have 250 responses by now.
