Hi All. Looking for some ideas on how to hang my road and tt bike. I got a new treadmill and my workout room is starting to fill up. Wanted to see if anyone had a unique way of doing it. I have some decent wall space where I could hang them flat to the wall.
I’ve got 4 hanging from these:

Not horizontal, but they work great
.
Something simple I used were some old broken bike hanging pads from an old Thule rack. They slipped right onto these pieces of pipe that I screwed into a base bought at a Home Depot and right onto the wall where I wanted it.
I’ve been using a Delta Cycle Leonardo Da Vinci Single Hook for years. It is sturdy and has enough rubber to protect the rim.
Thanks for the replies thus far. I used to hang my bikes from the wheel but now I have carbons on each of them so I’m hesitant to do that again.
I have not used them, but I’ve thought about getting the Steady Rack. The contact point for holding the bike is the tires rather than the rim. And they have a rotating mechanism so you can fold the bikes so are more flush with the wall saving some space

These.

They have a Speedplay insert if you use that pedal.

We have this. A very solid system and the rotating feature is handy. A potential downside is that the bike is not as close to the wall as it could be. Also, you need a special version to fit a bike with fenders. For those reasons our hanging bikes are split between the Steady Rack and a simple padded hook.
I hang mine using these 3D printed brackets:

I just ordered one of these yesterday: https://dahanger.co/collections/dasprocket
I considered the Cycloc super hero as well, but like that the DaSprocket uses four mounting screws instead of two. Also a bit cheaper. There are several other options on Amazon, but they are a bit bulky.
Will update once I have the item.
I will kind of piggy back /hijack on this as I had a similar question.
At my new office, bikes have to go in a bike locker. (almost annoyingly secure, so no issue there) But the only way for the bike to go in, is to be hung up by a wheel. Not an issue when I ride my commuter bike in, but once a week or so I ride my road bike, which I would rather not hang. Any ideas for that? was thinking of rigging some sort or strap to go between the seat post and the hook.
To the Op- I use this at my house http://www.racorstoragesolutions.com/p/detail/plb-2r?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 though there are about 5 companies on Amazon that sell the same thing under different names.
We just use these stands.
Got 3 of them around the apartment.
No screws of glue required to fix in place. Just expand like an acro prop and wedge in place.

I also have these (6 in fact). They are great. Due to our many types of bikes (TT, road, cruiser, fat tire, etc.), we have 3 different models and they all work well. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Thanks for everyone’s thoughts on how to hang my bikes. I ordered the cycloc super hero from amazon. I’ll see how they function. I like the look of clean lines. However, if they don’t work I can send them back and get the steadyrack. I’ll take a pic once I get them installed.
Steadyrack!

What’s the brand name of these if someone wanted to look into them?
I have my TT and MTB hanging one above the other on these (or similar - mine are just attached to the studs not to a slatwall or rail system), my gravel bike hangs to the left of them by its front wheel on a cheapo $3 Home Depot coated hook, and the road bike pretty much lives on the trainer now.
Is that ceiling 6 feet high or something?
