A bit of a PSA here, but I have just managed to swap my Quarq DFour power meter spider onto some 160mm Cranks from Croder. I’m posting this as I didn’t find much when I was searching in way of solutions (and not this) but a fair few questions.
I was really impressed by speed of delivery (less than a week to NZ), quality of finish and packaging (better than Shimano and SRAM). It’s all modular, so in my case I ordered the 160mm cranks and the axle (24mm), not the spider. They do also sell the x-cadey powermeter, but as I said I wanted to keep my Quarq. And it was an easy task to swap, all up about an hour and a half, including adding spacers under my bars, raising the saddle and swapping the bottom bracket.
Still down with flu, but all looked ok in terms of offset calibration and a very easy 2 min spin on the trainer. I will do a check against the Tacx Neo, but quarq says no recalibration of the slope is needed.
I love my quarqs, have 3 of them, and so this was a great solution that avoided needing to buy a new powermeter.
Note that they do a ‘fitter’ version where you have inserts for the pedal axle allowing you to test several crank lengths.
