Good day,
didn’t want to start 100500’s thread about Shiv TT questions but couldn’t find any answers.
I am looking to pick up Shiv TT frameset (2012/2014) (bare set, frame and fork without any additional hardware), but facing a lot of questions, please help me out.
I’ve asked local Spesh dealer for some parts but so far didn’t get answer from them.
How different seatpost clamping area between Shiv TT and Tri? Can TT frame use seatpost from Tri frame without that UCI Legal shim?
(I have a Tri seatpost and its symmetrical, 71.5mm wide)
Rear dropout bolts, any idea what size they are (size, thread, cap size)?
Steerer tube, on 2012 Spesh manual it says its 1 inch at top with custom compression ring, is this true and can (comp. ring) be replaced with 3rd party headset?
Is it only for 2012 shiv or its same 1in across all shiv TT frames? https://media.specialized.com/...3945/IG0333_revA.pdf
Steerer tube length, with 100mm of headtube, how long steerer tube should be (i.e. what is clamp size of original stem), i’ve seen 120mm forks is 20mm should be enough (including bearings, rings etc)?
Is there any “Want to Buy” threads around here to get spares for shiv TT frame, or maybe anyone have parts around?

Good questions! This is the only part I know (sort of). The frames bigger than XS have 100mm headtubes, and since I’ve seen Shiv TT forks that are 130mm, I’m guessing that is what you’d need.
Thank you very much for answers.
Checked offered fork and its 120mm from crown race to top and should be 130mm from bottom / where headtube joins, so should be all right with that.
Answering my own questions:
All forks are tapered 1 1/8 in at bottom, 1 in at top
From Australia it will be quite hard for me to receive, thank you for offer tho, will check when I get frameset itself.
US will work fine without questions
Rear dropout bolts, if anyone happens to have a photo and/or measurements of that bolts (length, size, cap) that would be great, will use some generic ones (quite sure there is nothing special about them).
