Shiv - How to reverse the seat post..?

Hi folk !

Who can educate me how to reverse the seatpost, the instruction guide specify the Shiv seat posts are available in +/- 12.5mm and +/- 37.5mm setbacks. The seatposts are also reversible, to offer four positions with 25mm offset… But I have not idea how to extract the clamps part “A” as shown at page 22 of instruction guide…

Any help will be highly appreciated !

Sergio C.re also reversible, to offer four positions with 25mm offset… But I’m not able

I’m not sure I understand your question; as long as you have the proper size Allen wrench, you should be able to loosen the bolts and remove the clamps, but I am also fairly certain that to reverse the seatposts you do not need to remove the clamps from the head of the seatpost as it works both ways
.

Hi jjstains,

I’m talking about the inner part of the clamps, the ones that is attached to seatpost, I already reversed the seat post but the tilt angle now is too high thats why is necessary to invert the inner clamps. I 'm not sure if I was clear enough to explain the issue…

Regards!

I’m going to take a guess on what’s happened. Are the seat rail camp parts (Part A in fig 5.1) stuck in the post? If so use a dowel as a drift through the clamp bolt hole to gently tap them free. Then make sure you grease those parts as per the instructions. You’ll probably need to adjust by hand as you assemble to get everything in line and level.
