I took a tumble the other day and I broke one of the plastic caps on my Ultegra shifters. Is this a part that a bike shop can order or am I stuck with a broken cap on my shifter forever? Thanks in advance for the help!
They can be ordered, and I think they can be ordered separatly.
Not sure about availability though, took ages for mine to arrive when I had the same problem.
Ask your LBS to order them for you. It might be simplistic advise but that worked for me.

When I took my bike in after crashing it the shop owner offered to order me new caps since I had broken one of mine. He said the part would be about $6-7.
Why put new caps back on!? That probably dropped your bike weight by at least 15 grams, which is something like 20 minutes savings over 112 miles!
