I was doing some maintenance on the bike today and I realized my g pulley doesn’t spin free when you flick it with your finger. The other RD pulley spins free. Is this normal or does the g pulley need to be replaced? This is on a Shimano Ultegra RD. Thanks for any help.
Mine does the samething.
yeah the upper pulley on ultegra is not a ball bearing setup.
in brand new form it wastes a half watt compared to a dura ace upper pulley.
maybe worse when all gummed up?
