Shimano cranks + Rotor Q-Rings?

Does anyone know, with absolute certainty, if the 2011 Shimano 105 compact crank is compatible with compact Q-Rings other than the 50T OCP3 Shimano-specific ring required by all earlier models?

Yes, I know a 105 component may not seem worthy of being installed onto a nice TT bike, but it’s actually lighter and stiffer than both the stock FSA Gossamer (by 184g) and the Ultegra SL compact crank I bought. The Ultegra SL, however, isn’t compatible with my compact Q-Rings and I’m switching to shorter cranks so I need to know. Thanks.

I’m interested in the answer too, if somebody out there knows.

YES! They work. I know this because I just bought them, had them installed with my compact Q-Rings, and the new setup kicks ass. The 2011 Shimano 105 is a legit crank. I was totally impressed with the value. I highly recommend them.

Which Q-rings did you use with the 105 cranks?

The 53/38 TDF compacts. The ones Carlos Sastre used the past two years in the Tour. Awesome rings.
