Well, it definitely had it’s good points and not so good points. The best thing it has going for it is it’s overall comfort. The foil is flanked by two tiny trimmers. Lets just say it handdles ‘bends’ extremely well. I alternate between shaving with big electric trimmers and with razors, and using either method I would nic myself behind the knees and at the hamstring\asscheeck juncture. Not a pretty sight.
The biggest negative (for me) with the Norelco was it’s lack of shaving efficiency. You (or at least I) had to keep going over the same area to get all of the hair trimmed. This seemed to be more true in the bony parts (shins) than the fleshy parts (calfs).
I would give it a B-. The design is great, cleaning is super easy (pop off the foil and brush it out - DON’T hold it close to your face and blow!), and it recharges so it doesn’t plug into anything. I haven’t tried it in the shower but it can be used in water. If only it did a better job actually shaving on the first pass over an area it would be an A in my book.
