I know some of you may be sick of questions about Norman but I just have to ask. Can anyone speak to what kind of cockpit that’s on this bike. I am wondering specifically about the base bar on the bike. Would anyone who was at the Kona Brunch mind filling in the blanks? Or is there are thread someone can point me towards to get the entire bike spec?

I am not 100% sure, but I think it’s a CarbonX basebar and T2 extensions.
Thanks a lot. I just acutally happened to go to the profile design site and they are showing the CARBON X 1.5. I am pretty sure that this may be it.
They didn’t look spanking new, so maybe it was the setup I mentioned. But it’s all the same, really.
Only thing I noticed on his base bar is that it’s straight at the ends. Have you ever heard of guys cutting the curved up end of the bars with a hax saw? I don’t see that many base bars out there that come straight. I guess that’s more or less the feature that I am looking for. I am getting sick of the bend at the end of the bar. Any thoughts on this one?
A lot of people do that, just cut the bars. Jordan Rapp for example rides a similar setup. Chris Legh too I think.
