No, no, no. That’s not right. You need to ask “why weren’t they penalized for not keeping right as we overtook them? We had to sit up so as not to illegally pass them. Rookies!”
Email the photographer and get that on cd, he should not be able to sell a picture of ‘yourself’ to you…then go get a 20x24 poster!
That is awesome!!!
tfun~
you dont know much about photo rights then.
TRUT…the photo is the photographer’s property…and since it was took journalistically…he doesn’t need a model release form also.
I’m pretty sure he did pull everything but the finish. Maybe John came through a few times on some of the downhills, but maybe not. He was telling Lance to slow down as they went by us on the climb.
I think Lance & John rode Hed wheels on the back because Steve Hed was at the race site helping Lance with his position and given Lance probably doesn’t have any team sponsor obligations right now it was opportunity to support Steve. Normally he uses a Bontrager disc (or it is Zipp disc with a Bontrager sticker?).
The wind speed was 0-5 mph. There was one climb on the entire 27 miles that people sat up for a bit. Lance’s average speed was almost 29 mph. I really don’t think the course was the deciding factor. Besides, is a Hed 3 even lighter than a good disc? I’ll stick with support for Steve Hed. A Hed 3 is a lot more recognizable than a Hed disc.
