Sergio Garcia never learns

Acting like a 5 year old just brings attention to yourself and glaring at the gallery isn’t going to help. If anything it just makes it worse. Don’t blame them for not living up to the hype. Grow up little man.

Did he shit the bed again? When I left it, he was in the lead.

Speaking of never learning:

Ill give him credit for a slight recovery on Sunday but if he would take the ego/ poor me clubs out of the bag he would really reduce his stress level. Hes a basket case.

And Quel, John is John. Not much you can do with that train wreck.

And here we go…Quoting someone here but I watched the shot but missed the melt down.

Sergio is one of the few players i always tend to look up an see how he is playing… I really enjoy watching Sergio play… But man sometimes i wish someone would toss him a xanax…

You climb a tree to hit your ball… Hit a great shot into the middle of the fairway… Rather than gathering your thoughts an getting up an down, you walk up and chunk it. Then walk up to hit your 4th shot before even dirt mcgirt is out of the way… Then miss your bogey putt…

And they just announced he WD. Pussy. Miserable pussy.

I saw the video of him hitting it out of the tree. He didn’t even look happy after that (before he chunked it). Not even a little smirk. He just hit a once in a lifetime shot, the crowd is going nuts, and it all worked out where he put himself in a position to save par/bogie. If you can’t smile after that you need to get your head looked at or find a new career.

My post was lost but ina nutshell Sergio is was and probably always will be a spoiled childish punk.

And the sad thing is…the way he plays, he could totally win over the crowd. I remember watching him hit a shot at he Master’s as either an amatuer or a very new pro and sprinting up a hill to see where it went…if he could only harness the energy that makes him fun to watch and stop being a little bitch, he could really be a crowd favorite.

Exactly. And some people do like him but frankly I can’t stomach him based on what I see and things I know.

He’s just a head case. H was dating Greg Normans daughter, and when they broke up, he went into a tail spin. He doesn’t have the emotional toughness to overcome frustration or personal issues.

Head case is being kind.

I’ve never seen anyone hit a tree iron before…

I am hardly a Sergio sympathizer but he injured his shoulder in the tree escapade. Then made it worse on the next shot that he chunked. Then he withdrew.

He should have taken the penalty shot and went on with his life instead of trying to get on Sports Centre.

You mean he said he injured his shoulder. Did you hear about Roris recent tooothache?

Watch the ascent and decent and try to spot any sort of stress on the shoulder or a look of any sort of discomfort at that time or when we walked away. His next shot was nothing but a mental breakdown very similar to his puttig problems. He is different than Happy Gilmore because “its all in his head”! His hips are fine.

The statement said that when Garcia was in the tree, he forced the left shoulder to the point he could barely feel it, and his next shot – a chunked wedge that only went about 30 yards – was a result of his sore left shoulder

He did have a shoulder issue looked at earlier this year but the fact that he went to his courtesy car and simply said “I am out of here” indicates the crowd got to him. BTW the crowd being negative toward him is also his own doing. If you throw a fit sometimes it catches up to you. Yelling “mother F*&%$#” at the hole doesnt help either.

He is such a little bitch it’s embarrassing. I saw him at what is now called The Transitions here in Tampa maybe 4 years ago. Followed he and Retief Goosen for a few holes. Polar ends of the spectrum. Retief is the consummate gentleman and such a likable guy. Amenable to everyone…yes even after putting 2 US Open trophies under his belt. Sergio was barking at the gallery all day, swearing like a drunken sailor. Retief was totally ignoring Sergio too it was great.

Retief is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and what you see in public is exactly who he is privately.

That was at Medinah during the PGA Championship, not the masters. I love watching Sergio, he hasn’t handled his career perfectly, but he is still an enormous talent and has had a very good career. He is an emotional Spaniard, you have to take the good with the bad. That’s not to say he doesn’t deserve criticism, but I am certain he doesn’t deserve some of the things he has been subjected to over the years. I absolutely believe he is one of the purest ball strikers in the world. The way he is able to compress the ball is impressive. Damn the statistics, I measure ball striking but what I hear with my ear. The ball just sounds different when hit by Sergio, Tiger and Angel Cabrera.
