Selle San Marco Azoto Triathgel vs. Azoto Aspide

I’ve been on the Azoto Triathgel for going on 3 years and it has thus far been the best saddle I’ve tried. I focus on long course racing, ride a steep angle and sit on the nose. I also use a neoprene cover on the Azoto. My only complaint against the regular Azoto is the nose width. With the neoprene cover it is pretty wide.

So is the Aspide Triathgel significantly narrower in the nose? How much of that wonderful padding will I have to sacrifice if I go with the Aspide. Anyone out there ridden both saddles? Which do you prefer?

Thanks

Chris

Anyone?

as far as I know width is the only diffence between the two saddles…using the gel that they do I would think there isn’t much in the way of breakdown from use. If you’re already riding on one how much has the get broken down on your model? If not much you should be okay to go with the Aspide without much noticeable difference other than the rub on your thighs.
