Seeking Engineering Internships in Cycling/Endurance Industry

I’m a master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, specializing in mechanical design, and I’m seeking engineering internship opportunities in the cycling or endurance sports industry.

As a passionate endurance athlete, I’m particularly interested in contributing to high-performance product development that enhances the athlete experience. My thesis and recent coursework has been focused on performance oriented product design. I’m excited to apply these skills to the cycling and endurance sports industry.

If you or someone you know has any leads, advice, or recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate your input.

You should go ask the guys at Art’s Cyclery (the bike shop). I’m assuming they have connections with the good folks.

Also there’s a SRAM office by the airport but I don’t know if they do what you looking for here.

What kind of role you looking for in the “cycling & endurance industry”?

With either industry I am looking to work in R&D, but other than that I don’t really have any criteria for what, I am open to doing anything.
