Seatpost clamp torque help

On vacation with my bike… and forgot the torque required for my seat post clamp.

Bike is a Lynskey Helix (titanium) and post is Lynskey
titanium also).

I torqued it to 7nM… but for some reason I keep thinking 11nM.

First ride tomorrow… and would like to know tonight if possible.

I’m not exactly sure if this is what you’re looking for but this is what I found:
“Recommended Seatpost Binder Bolt Torque Specs: 65-80 in-lbs (7.3-9 Nm)”

https://www.lynskeyperformance.com/store/lynskey-seatpost-clamp-parts-kit.html
.

What seatpost do you have?

I know that the stock mine is 8-12 Nm (71-106 in-lbs, 5.9-8.8 ft-lbs)
Actually rather high but any less and my Thomson post would slip.

Might be too much for some carbon posts though.

Yup… I think that’s right. I have the Lynskey Ti 27.2, 300mm with 25mm setback. I upped the torque to 11.

Hand tight should work as long as you don’t use a gorilla grip. Ti post in a Ti frame is pretty hard to damage. Keep track of how many turns and if it slips then maybe add a quarter turn when retightening…
