Hi forum,
My friend has a Parlee TT with this seat post and clamp for the seat. The clamp got stripped and we’re looking for a solution for him. We called Parlee and they said there was nothing they could do as they don’t make that part anymore.
Can anybody put us in the right direction? He’s supposed to race St. George next week and now has no way to connect a seat.

Is there a possibility to take it to a mechanic or machine shop to re-tap the threads?
I would think that only one piece is threaded.
A set of longer bolts, washers, and nuts would do the trick.
Unfortunately, the original assembly was disposed of so it’s completely starting from scratch.
There’s a fabrication currently under way to recreate the piece
Have you called some Parlee shops?
Fitwerx in Peabody is a Parlee dealer and they are TT specialists. They might have a clam kicking about.
