I have a Cervelo P3. I did the measurements. 69 -+1. I have my seat very forward. It could only move about 3/4 inch more. I ride a san marco aspide (regular) saddle. I am only at a 79 degree seat angle? It doesn’t look like I could get much steeper? This surprises me I would have guessed it to be 80-81. Does this sound correct?
Have you turned the seat post mechanism forward?
I forgot I have the seat post in the steep /forward position.
I am guessing the 69 ± 1 refers to your saddle height. Yes, it does sound correct. With a low saddle, you will need to get the saddle about as far forward as you can to get much over 80 degrees.
I’m 5’10" and my seat height is correct for me. Does this mean I would need to be 6’ or taller to be in a 80-81 seat angle? This sounds like most people do not ride a seat angle of 80 degrees. I say this because I have my bike set up in a steep seat angle, my seat is very forward, I’m 5"10" and I’m still not at 80. 5’10" isn’t tall but it may be on the average to tall size for triathletes.
How many of you ride a seat height taller that 69 cm?
Your theoretical seat height is done one of three ways 1) inseam x .883 measures from center of BB to top of seat. 2) inseam x 1.09 measured from pedal spindle center to top of seat along the seat angle 3) knee bend at 150-155.
Your seat seems a bit low unless you’re shortish. Mine is set at 71 cm from bb to top.
Are you using Slowman’s chart?

How tall are you? inseam?
I’m also 5’10". Can’t remember my exact inseam but it works out to 71.0 cm seat ht. using the Lemond method. I get about 148 degrees knee bend at this height which seems to work well for me. If you have hamstring tightness it might help to lower the seat slightly.
Here’s how to do the Lemond method. Try it and then take a digital photo of you on the bike/trainer and measure your knee angle. I’d go by knee angle over the formulas.

My saddle is 78 cm high, and I needed a forward Profile post with the saddle pushed almost all the way forward to get to 82 degrees. I’m 5’11", but have the inseam and arm length of most people at 6’2" or so. So, my bike is set up looking like it’s for a 6+ footer (eg: Slowman and I have nearly identical bike setups, and he’s ~4 inches taller than me).
On most bikes, as you move the saddle lower, the angle steepens. But on a P3, this effect is much less pronounced due to the design of the frame.
