Scattante XRL Bike reviews?

So I read the reviews on this bike, and it looks very solid. I’m attempting to find a 61cm bicycle that can replace my 58cm and still be a solid ride. Do you think this fits the bill or should I continue looking?

This is their own brand (bikes with their stickers), I’m not sure of sizes but you could probably buy a completely carbon frame and forks for the same price direct from China for the same price, I bought one in 55cm and it weighs between 14-16 pounds depending on wheelset with DA mix. Some ebay searches should turn up results or others here can advise, I put some Kung Fu Panda Stickers on mine to complete the I don’t need a name brand bike statement. If you’re not sure then stick to a name brand and local bike shop so you get the appropriate support.

I’m 6’3" and I purchased one in 60 CM. This bike just never felt right to me. I ended up selling mine on ebay. I’m not saying it was necessarily just the frame. Could have been the wrong size or something just could not get it dialed in.

I rode one in a 58 for three yrs and have no complaints!!! Wasnt the greatest thing out there, but it wasnt a huffy either.

IMHO, within reason, any bike can be a good bike, if you have a great bike fit.

Just my .02

I got a Scattante XRL as my road bike, and did group rides, road races and crits on it for six of years. It was a great value and I had a great experience (and results) with it. I liked it enough that I bought the Scattante 'cross frame/fork.

I am 6’1.5" and 210lbs and rode a 60cm. It was plenty stiff enought and fit me very well. It has a tall head tube, so it may not be the greatest as a TT bike (if you want a low front end), but all around I think it’s a great value and ride.

Just ordered one on thursday… I’ll let you know when I build it up.
