Santa Clause Shuffle?

There is a race in Manchester, NH tomorrow before the annual Christmas parade, a 3 miler, where they are handing out Santa suits to the first 1,000 registered people (currently over 1,200 are registered). I do not plan on setting a PR or anything for this race, just looking to get some cool photos/video of 1,000+ Santas running down the road. I am sure no matter what the air temps are it will be hot running in that suit/beard combo…though they do have a prize for the best Santa speedo. Anyone ever done one of these?

Saw the flyer at the Portland Pie company when I was up visiting relatives two weeks ago. Seems like it will be a blast!

i’ve done the one in burlington, ON in 2009 & 2010. it’s kind of fun, but the santa suits are cheap and annoying to wear and the whole race experience seemed to degrade a bit from one year to the next. i won’t be doing the 2011 one.
