I am traveling to Silicon Valley for a week and am looking for a pool I can hop in at a drop in rate; any recommendations?
Thanks!

Where will you be staying and where will you be working. The place is gridlock 16x7 (not quite 24x7, at least overnite the traffic flow but you get the picture). Post where you will be near and I am sure some of the guys will chime in. I asked the same question a short while ago and had some good responses (turns out my hotel which was the Fairmont San Jose had an 20 yard pool and i had it to myself, so I just used that)
If you are in Santa Clara, treat yourself to the best lap swimming in the US: The George Haines International Swim Center in Santa Clara.
There’s a 50 meter outdoor pool. Some of the greatest ever have trained there.
Enjoy!

If you are near Sunnyvale, Cal Sports Center (located at Fremont High School - in Sunnyvale, not Fremont) has a good outdoor pool with lots of lanes.

Non-Sunnyvale residents unfortunately get penalized … $10 drop in rate is a bit steep.

Thanks! I’m staying at the Sants Clara Mariott.
I’m cheap, work is fancy. So I won’t complain

+1000, anyone in Santa Clara should swim there, since numerous Oly swimmers have trained there and continue to train there. The guys profiled in the outstanding book Gold in the Water trained at Santa Clara: Kurt Grote, Tom Wilkens, etc.

Santa Clara Marriott has a 25m pool. You don’t need to go anywhere to swim. There is never anyone swimming in that pool in the 10x times I have stayed there and yes, I picked that hotel because of the pool!
Wow, thanks! I’m ashamed for my poor research.
