Going to be in Sandy / Little Cottonwood Canyon over labor day and have been dreaming about doing the LCC and BCC climbs, but don’t particularly want to pay to fly my bike out there for the weekend. Any recommendations on where I could rent or demo a good road bike in the area? Ideally looking for something carbon with Ultegra or better. Cost isn’t really too much of an issue given that I am saving the cost of shipping a bike both ways (and don’t have to deal with the hassle).

I found a Roubaix, but I was hoping for something with a little bit more aggressive geometry. Called a bunch of stores to no avail.

It’s about 10 minutes north of Downtown, bout 30 from Sandy, but right off the freeway.
You might want to try one of these but I’m not sure which ones rent road bikes. I’m sure that one of them would be happy to make some recommendations for you though. You should try to rent a mountain bike instead.
