2011 Prologo Scratch Pro Nack: Road or Cross bicycle saddle, carbon/kevlar rails, 196 grams
$120 price drop. That’s 50% off retail for a high quality barely used saddle.

Here’s the lowdown from the manufacturer:
Based on the ultra popular Scratch Pro saddle, the Prologo Scratch Pro Nack adds the new Nack 10 carbon rails to this already exemplary saddle. The benefits are reduced weight and road vibration. Made using carbon nano technology, the Nack 10 rail combines a weave of Carbon and Kevlar fibers with Aluminum filaments at the clamp area for extra strength. Best of all, the rails are the same size as standard rails, so you won’t need 7 mm clamp adapters.
The Scratch Pro (as opposed to the Scratch) is preferred by pro’s because of it’s ESD technology, or Easy Stroke Design. ESD is simply a saddle contour that keeps the saddle out of the way of a rider’s thighs while pedaling. The microfiber cover is supple and seals in the AD 456 padding. Active Density padding is less dense (read “squishier”) at the nose, moderately dense in the center, and dense at the back to adequately support the sit-bones. The Scratch has a comfortable round profile with a generous amount of padding - particularly noticeable when you compare the weight with the Nago Evo Nack - making it the No. 1 choice for Prologo sponsored riders. As Prologo’s best selling saddle, the Scratch Pro Nack builds upon a stellar pedigree.
The Prologo® Scratch Pro Nack bicycle seat helps you achieve peak performance with specialty features for long distance cycling.
• Nack 10 carbon rails: BCR (Braided Carbon Rail) fuses Carbon, Kevlar and Aluminum filaments together to create a lighter and smoother ride.
• Carbon fibre injection base: Strengthens the base by increasing stiffness and duration.
• Round shape for cyclists that like to keep the same position for long rides.
• Unisex saddle supports the pelvic zone and gives your inner thighs more seating area.
• ESD (Easy Stroke Design) helps the rider maintain the correct position and have better pedal strokes by providing more leg space and limiting forward sliding.
• Active Shape: protects the perineal zones by reducing pressure.
• Active Density Padding: 3 different densities that decrease from the back of the seat to the front while the stiffness lessens in the middle, creating comfort for both male and female riders.
• EV2 foam: -40% weight and +20% dumping capacity.
• U-Clip accessible.
• road, touring or cyclocross use.
• Weight: 196 grams.
• Size: 278mm x 134mm.

The lowdown on why I’m selling:
I picked up this 2011 Prologo Scratch Pro Nack last season and rode it a couple times for a few weeks. It’s a stellar saddle, but I found myself needing a cut out for century+ rides. Other than that, it’s arguably the best saddle I’ve ever had. The round shape is very comfortable and the padding is fantastic, amazing since it only weighs in at 196 grams. The carbon rails also make a noticeable difference in the road buzz you feel. The saddle didn’t see a lot of riding from me and is in excellent shape with no wear on the cover. The only thing you’ll notice is that the seat post clamps made indentations in the clear coat of the rails. Be assured that is strictly cosmetic and know that your rails will do the same thing when you clamp it down. I think the clear coat is just one more level of protection for the bombproof carbon/Kevlar rails.
Note that you can remove the rear clip and put on a decorative clip, or their special light or rear bag. It’s a nice feature that I didn’t tap into but is available. That’s called the Prologo U-Clip. If you’re worried about the carbon rails, note that Prologo recommends this saddle for both road and cyclocross so its meant for a little abuse. Obviously they aren’t worried about the rails failing you so you shouldn’t worry either. Any research on this saddle and you’ll read how impressed we all are on the build quality of the saddle. Flip it over and you’ll see the fabric is perfectly trimmed and its put together with little screws and not just glued or stapled together like all the other big names in saddle makers. This is a saddle you will keep for a long time. In the photos of the back, you’ll see they imbedded reflective material in the design of the rear of the saddle. Its a nice touch. Overall a super sharp looking saddle.
FYI, these retail at $210 to $250 (plus tax/shipping) so i think I’ve priced it well. Shipping in the US or Canada for $6. No international orders please. Payment due within 3 days and I’ll have the order shipped as soon as I receive payment via paypal. …Thanks for looking!!
