I am using a Cobb 55 JoF and I am looking to try something different to compare (I have only ridden on that saddle). I have narrow sit bones and I have thought of trying a ProLogo tri saddle. I have tried the ISM 3.0 previously and didnt like it but I am willing to try another ISM. I am hoping some of the bike fitters in particular have some recommendations.
I couldn’t get any ISM narrow enough to work for me, even with the ziptie corset action. I found joy from the SMP t4.
The fit challenge for me was more for pubic rami and symphysis than pure sit bones b/c I’m comfortable riding with a pronounced anterior tilt on tri bike in aero. What didn’t work: the “narrow” Dash, ISMs (several), fizik mystica and cobb 55. Those others would give me progressive inner thigh numbness and then I’d promptly tweak an adductor muscle and that would last a few days. Regularly. I’m so glad I found something that worked.
If you’re not in an area with a shop that can offer loaners, I highly recommend sportfit lab rentals.
I was put on a Selle Italia Watt by a fairly fast British postman who does bike fittings. I’ve been really pleased with it. I was initially on JOF but it was softer than I was after - went through multiple ISMs and tried a couple Dash saddles and finally landed on the Watt. It’s worth a shot
Bisaddle. By design the width is whatever you want, can even make the front touch if you’d like.
Dash saddles, I cannot sing their praises enough. I have a narrow dash which fits amazing. They do have a try-before-you-buy program where you can use it for a month (for a fee), and return it if you don’t like it. They are a minimalist saddle in terms of padding, but I find that proper positioning minimizes any issues with this. I have tried the Sitero (never to be sufficiently cursed), ISM Adamo, another ISM saddle, all of which were too wide. I barely notice it’s there, no friction with my thighs a the extension portion of the pedal stroke. Definitely give Dash a though.
Years ago when I was forced to ride ISM saddles, I took the pleather cover and padding off, then using various tools cut the heavy plastic base down to a small size. I tested the narrower version and the stock versions with GeBioMized pressure mapping which showed the customized narrow version was a better fit for my bone structure but my team got pissed and ISM told me I was sitting on the saddle wrong. Anyway, long story short, I don’t think their saddles are for everyone and I think they bring a very narrow minded approach to this table. So many athletes use zip ties, hose clamps, etc to make it narrower, clearly there is a subset of bone structures that doesn’t fit their saddles.

BiSaddle definitely, anything and everything can be adjusted to your liking. I got a big relief after 5-6 years in search every different brand and model. Highly recommend it.
Try Selle Italia. I have narrow sit bones and cannot use most of the major saddle brands. I’ve been using Selle Italia for years and have had many saddles. Their web page explains the sizing How to choose the correct size of the saddle for the bicycle (selleitalia.com). Good luck.
Thanks very much!!
I use the JCOB Delta 38, I liked the Cobb 55 when I was getting fitted but it was still too wide; the 38 has a similar shape with a narrower nose.
It looks like the Delta is slightly narrower than the bi saddle will go.
