Saddle bag for S5 (using ISM)?

Any recommendations for a small saddle bag that will work on an S5 with very little to work with in terms of saddle rails due to a forward seat position?

What are you using on your S5?

Here’s my saddle position:

Thanks.

arundel single or dual bags are the answer to any seatbag questions.

I have a basic Bontrager bag that fits on my P5 with an ISM and that I have used on an S5 with the same saddle. Its a tight squeeze around the seat post of the P5 but still worked. It is an older version of either the Pro Pack or the Pro Seat Pack… not sure which. Basically the way the straps are set up, you can slip them through the rails and kind of cinch it in to place.

Was going to ask the same question, altho I think I have even less rail to work with.

I use a smallish bag w/ a trisports logo on it (it even matches the S5 Team)…I think it is made by Jaand. Same set up…S5 and Adamo saddle w/ little rail to work with.

I had the same issue and couldn’t find a decent saddle bag. Thus, I switched to the Sitero and the bottle cage works as my saddle bag holder. It JUST fits w/ the seat pretty much slammed all the way forward. I ride my S5 as a tri bike, so the Sitero seems to work. If you are used to the Adamo Race, then the Sitero should be fine. Even when I’m on the hoods, I feel like I could ride the Sitero as a road saddle (but I haven’t tried it for very long). The Sitero is definitely more firm, but your sit bones are probably trained from the Adamo. Also, the Adamo prongs seemed to flex a bit after while, which the Sitero won’t at all.

Back pocket of a cycling jersey?

Works, but I have left the house on more than one occasion without my spare kit bc I forgot to throw it in my pocket. Saddle bag takes the thinking out of the equation at 5 am…

Indeed. That’s why my spare kit in a ziploc bag is always stored in my helmet!

Looks like the Lezyne micro caddy might be a good fit. Use it on all my bikes.

That’s what I use on my S5…thanks, I needed a new one and decided to stock up

I’ve got a P2 and I use a small Xlab bag flipped. Works pretty good. You’ll need a piece of Velcro to make the connection around the down tube. I added a small zip tie to tighten things around the seat tube and a reusable zip tie around the brake housing to hold it from swinging but you don’t really need it.

I haven’t had any problems with interference of the brake and been using it this way for bout 2years. If I had any sewing skills I would have modified one myself. Xlab should make a Cervelo edition and send me one to test out! LOL.

Which size have you been using?
