Yes, I saw this. The former Baathist party had an election with one cadidate on the ballot. It was Saddam, and believe it or not he won. After the election he was awarded 3 goats and 14 sheep. None of which feel safe.
The animals don’t feel safe because Iraq is the land where men-are-men, or because of the security situation?
I wonder if anyone will put a write-in vote for Saddam in the United States election just to make a point or just to make a vote. I know that we’ll never hear about it if anyone does but it might be a pretty good joke. Just an option.
