What’s your current favorite? I have been running in Feetures Elite Lite Cushion for years, but lately it seems that it is taking me 4 months to kill a pair. So quality seems to have gone down.
I tried Balega Hidden comfort and did not like the feel. What else should I try?
I have done my last 20+ IM races and all my training and other racing in DeFeet socks and really couldn’t be more pleased. Not a single blister in all of that.
I prefer the Swiftwick Aspire model. They seem to be my go to sock for everything now.
i tried various brands and battled blisters for years…until i switched to Balega hidden comfort!
Balega is THE most comfortable sock.
My wife loves Injini toe socks. She used to get blisters on or between her toes. These fixed that.
My favorite socks are Swiftwick for skating and running. I usually ride in either swiftwick or defeet.

+1
I bought enough for cycling/running for a full week. Life is too short to run in bad socks.
I have several pairs of Defeet and Sock Guy socks, but find that their toe seam causes rubbing/blisters on the top of my toes. YMMV.
I like Pro Compression - the mid-calf for normal days, knee-high for long runs or tired leg days
.

Not my experience at all with Feetures. I’m still using many pairs from a least 5 years ago. Obviously socks are personal choice but I find the Feetures superior to the other brands mentioned in this thread. Have you contacted Feetures about issues?

Have not, to be honest. Do you think that it is worth it? Not familiar with their customer service.

May be worth it. The quality of Some brands definitely gets worse over time so it’s possible that has happened here. Most of the pairs I bought years ago and I really haven’t needed to buy new ones because they just last. But, that’s certainly not consistent with my experience with Feetures.
Drymax hyper thin running V4. That’s if you can find them. They also last forever
I’m also a fan of the Swiftwick 4". Lasts very well, as do the Features, but I feel the compression is nice. I also have a few pair of the CEP sock that I absolutely LOVE. I’ve gravitated to higher socks lately as I like the compression going up my legs a few inches. all 3 of these brands have also worn quite well and also the compression has stayed strong.

Is that the normal Defeet cycling sock or do they make a run sock too?
I’ve used the Asics Kayano sock for years but they seem to have been discontinued a couple of years ago, and my attempts to find replacements I like hasn’t been successful several hundred $ later.
I echo the reasons for injinji-no blisters between toes.
I started using injinji toe socks a few years ago and love them. No more blisters anywhere.
Currently running in Stance, various models, use the same socks for cycling. I don’t think it really matters what socks I run in, I rarely get blisters and if I do, it’s usually from the shoes. I just prefer crew length and non-cotton.

+3 Swiftwick Aspire. I also just upgraded to “life is too short to train in uncomfortable socks”. I use these socks for everything.
How about a sock with a lifetime guarantee!!! Darn Tough are the best!
