Running shoe fit in chicago

I am looking for a very skilled shoe fitter for running in the chicago area, name and place- would be great.
thanks

Try Running Away Multisport. They have a location around Lincoln Park and one in Deerfield.

Fleet feet in Old Town (North and Wells) has a better selection of shoes than Running Away and has some pretty serious runners on their staff. If I didn’t already know exactly what I want out of a shoe, that’s where I’d go. Personally, I always went to Universal Sole (3052 N Lincoln) because I liked the people and vibe there, and they had exactly what I wanted.

I’ve had great service @ the Naperville Running Company, guess it all depends on your definition of Chicago “area”. They have the treadmill so-mo video thingy that is cool as hell. Google for directions

I’ve had fantastic experiences at both Fleet Feet (North/Wells) & Running Away (Clybourn/Webster).

Both carry almost every line. Neither have Zoot. Ram additionally stocks Newton & Karhu.

Both have knowledgeable staff, treadmills (Fleet Feet has motion capture on the treadmills), and rewards programs.

Hard to go wrong at either spot. Going on a weekday will prevent the assembly line feeling.

If the suburbs work for you, I can highly recommend Runner’s High n Tri in Arlington Heights.

Absolutely. I did not mention them at first as I thought the OP was focusing on the city. Runner’s High & Tri is a GREAT shop.
