You could also do a Runn treadmill sensor thing instead of a foot pod.
I’ve had a stryd version 2 for a few years now and just purchased a Runn sensor a few months ago when we bought our treadmill. The Runn sensor is Bluetooth to zwift and stryd to my garmin - always within .10 of each other for anything longer than 10k - yesterday did 22k while watching NFL and stryd said 22.01 and Runn said 22.08.

this is a lot more accurate than a footpod. better way to go in my opinion.
Another option is the Scosche Rhythm 24 HR monitor. It pairs well with Zwift and is consistent when I use it as a run pod. Added benefit of having a backup HR monitor as well.
$100 USD on their website but I think I looked around and found a deal for $50.
I might have a Stryd non wind for sale soon…but honestly, I had the Zwift pod and it ranged from ok to terrible. Outside it was worthless for me then ended up buying a Stryd before I had my 2nd kid since I knew I’d be on the treadmill more and wanted to test out the whole running with power thing. And 2 years later I run with my Stryd every time and don’t pay attention to pace anymore. I really like pacing by power. So could be a good investment if you’re interested in that.

Thanks, I think I may give this one a try. About a third the price of a Stryd here in Canada.
Was literally about to hit the order button for the Runn…then thought I’d do a quick search for reviews which lead me to a couple zwift treadmill threads, which in turn clued me in to the fact that my Sole F80 treadmill has Bluetooth …duh…
Grabbed the macbook, powered on the F80 and Zwift, sure enough, Zwift picked up the treadmill.

Runn May still be worth the purchase if you’re concerned about accuracy? I’m on a new F85 and while the Runn and Stryd track almost identical, my F85 usually reports high, especially on incline. The reason I actually purchased the Runn is because I wasn’t sure what was right, stryd or Sole.
I will say with the gen 2 that you need to be a bit more cognizant of how you secure it with each shoe. The bottom most lace must be clear of the wind sensor cutout/port or else you will get some odd readings. Depending on the shoe laces, the stryd may not be completely secure either and you could risk losing it during a run. It’s never happened to me but I can see how it could happen if you aren’t diligent mounting it. It takes me less than 10 seconds to switch from shoe to shoe.

Thanks, I’ll see how it goes. I also have my garmin watch I can wear and set to indoor run, for comparison, but guessing its prob not that accurate either without a foot pod.
But really, just looking to join some group runs, like the slowtwitch runs, to get my shorter workouts in during the week.
Super easy. It is just a little clip. I cannot tell you the last time I ran in the same shoes back to back so I change mine daily when I am in training. There are also people on Etsy that sell different clips that work for different lacing systems but I still have the original one from 2 years ago and it is still going strong.
