If you were headed there from out of town, what would you bring running clothing wise? What are conditions like/likely to be like in Central Park? Are conditions/footing decent enough for someone to run, say, 6:50/mile pace for a couple hours and stay vertical?
NYC does a good job of salting the CP loop - you should be fine… don’t wear racing flats.
The weather forecast says Sat - 70% chance for snow & Sun - sunny.
I don’t from where you are coming but bring somelong tights, for me 2 thin layers (or one thicker layer) are usually fine for upper body and if you suffer from cold hands gloves are useful.
Watch out from falling branches
Enjoy
sunday sunny and in the 20s to 30s
saturday spitting - snow/rain/hail/sleet/brimstone
.
Lower 30’s, light snow! Perfect winter running conditions with a hat, gloves, tights, long sleeve wicker and a light coat.
Enjoy Central Park, I miss it!

The traverses are a great way to add miles to the 6 mile outer loop.
Oh, and running the (gravel) loop around the resevoir (pictured in the link) allows for stunning views of the NYC skyline.
