Running form- Hips

Hello
I am not training in a squad nowadays and I have been trying to find information about running technique, in particular about the rotation and movement of the hips. I am superaverage runner/tri: i think my best PB is 1.36 in a HM …I am quite big (6´2), 85kg. I know the basics: running tall, high hips, arm swing…
I used to move my hips more than I do now, because someone told me or because I read it…I don´t remember. When we most of us walk, we tend to move our hips a lot, avoinding shoulder movement. When I saw myself in a video once, in a race, and having in mind that my hips should not rotate too much, I saw a lot of side to side body movement, like a boat in a waving sea (sort of Morgan Pearson but worse, and much slower ;D) …I think I have a low cadence too…
Kriss Gemmel used to move his hips a lot. you can see videos of both: one moves his upper body a lot, the other his hips

Gemmell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pfrYC0vagk

If you have to choose, which is more academic?

General comments since there’s no video of you running:

I’d think that you’d want to spend some time doing some running core exercises. I follow @fullerrunsfar and @leni_runner on Insta and get some great exercises for core stability.

Another spot to check out, specific to running form, is Good Form Running. I’ve done an in-person clinic through my local running store and I feel like it addresses running form in pretty simple terms.

You will run in a way that is most efficient for you. There is very little that you can do about it.

I am somewhat agree to this!

u can make a few tweaks here and there but your running form is "set’ for the most part.
