Run Shoe Rule Drama Resurfaces at T100 French Riviera

Wilde (and Smith) had two bottle cages for his Canyon FUEL aero bottle one conventionally on the down tube and another ‘upside down’ beneath his ‘normal’ BTA bottle cage mounting plate.
athletes were told in the pro briefing that the positions of attachments/bottle they check in their bikes with were not to be changed.
Smith didn’t. The other bloke just went for it. Exited T1 with the bottle on the down tube and abracadabra replaced it to the lower BTA Fidlock cage.

Which positions the bottle >250mm to the rear of the reference point.
Field of play ‘decision’ though so no further action.
Wonder if the Spanish tech officials will be any better / better informed?
The Rays are now legal (wef 11th September).
