Started the free trial today, but when trying to search for a route, one that I know other friends can see, I can’t find any. For example, ‘Mont Tremblant’. I just get the message No Routes Found or similar…

Maybe try just “Tremblant”? That returns many results, including one with video titled “Tremblant 90km loop”.

I believe this is true. I think Rouvy’s thinking is that they don’t want people to try things and ride a bunch of poorly made routes, get a bad impression of the quality, and never sign up.
In defense of their strategy, I have seen many people complain that Rouvy was terrible, with just a map, or that the routes had awful video with completely mis-synced resistance. At least by limiting people to the AR routes, they know new users will be getting the best Rouvy has to offer, although at the expense of not getting all the old routes.
