Does anyone know if it’s possible to rotate the saddle side-to-side on a Specialized Transition? I’m looking to have my saddle nose pointed slightly to one side as it’s much more comfortable. I know this is a common recommended adjustment for steep riding but I don’t the Transition post head as the ability to do it?
Right, it can only be done with round seatposts. I don’t think anyone has come up yet with a seat adapter that can be rotated. It would be easy to design. But no one would like paying for it. It would be such a low volume thing that it would probably cost $80.
The offset seat thing is a compromise that is intended to accomplish the same thing as a split saddle design. Have you considered one of the split saddles? V-Flow, Adamo and others?

You can use a hammer. Seriously. Put your saddle in a vise, one rail at a time, and take a hammer to it. I’ve done it before. It works fine to get just a touch of rotation. Of course, I am not responsible for your saddle warranty…
