Roswell Bicycles- Great Experience

I’m not affiliated with this shop other than having just purchased a new bike and picked it up today. Up until a few years ago I lived down the street from this shop and would occassionally stop in for random things. I once bought a rediculously oversized mountain bike from them when I went off to college. I had no clue what I was doing and bought the cheapest, largest and heaviest mountain bike they had. I hated that bike. HATED it! It wasn’t their fault- the sales guy actually told me it probably wasn’t the right size. It was used and only $200 so what did I care…not enough.

I have been looking at new TT bikes for a while and wandered in to the shop last week and talked to a couple of people about a bike they had on the floor. I came back two days later and talked to the owner, Todd Kaib. Todd was great. I ended up buying the bike that day and came back today to pick it up after they made a few changes for me. Todd even agreed to change out the black tires for white tires they had in stock for no charge. I didn’t ask the world of them, but when I did ask for something they were more than happy to oblige.

It is sad that service from businesses has really dropped off in quality, so I feel it is necessary to let others know of a business that I feel has provided good service.

Are you sure he’s not an alien? Or, …you live in Roswell…are you an alien?

He must be… there are no bike shops in Roswell.

I think the Roswell Bicycles the OP is referring to is in Georgia, not New Mexico but I could be wrong.

I’ve only stopped in that shop a couple of times (usually go up to All3Sports) but they’ve seemed pretty decent. Curious, though, about the process of buying the bike in terms measurements, fitting, etc. to make sure the bike you first saw and ended up buying was actually the right bike for you. I’ve always viewed them more of experts in road bikes not necessarily TT or triathlon.

My bad. I thought there was only one ROSWELL.

I used to Roswell (GA) and they are a good shop. More towards the ‘we carry all types of bike’ store rather than a more specialized store like All 3 in Dunwoody.
I never thought that their pricing was spectacular but the service is okay.
