Who is in? It looks like it may be clear and cool again.
I saw rain in the forecast. Hopefully the weather can be the same as last year.
I’ll be there.

Hopefully I’ll see you there; hopefully you won’t hear the announcer mention my name in the same sentence as “late start.”
.
Glad to hear it. Maybe we’ll battle it out for the lead of the separated shoulder division.
50/50 right now. IT Band is causing me some second thoughts.

CIM?

Great news on the commute. Enjoy, but be careful on the wet roads.
I’ll look for you as I run by mile 7.5 (I pack my own Gatorade and Gu.) At least as of now, the forecast is for sunny to mostly sunny skies with lows in the low-30’s and highs in the mid-50’s, so it should be nice.
California International Marathon. Folsom to Sacramento. www.runcim.org
California International Marathon. It starts in Folsom near Folsom Dam and ends in Sacramento near the capitol.
I am in! Weather forcast is looking good, but still to far off to be accurate.
I’ll be there, not to run, just to spectate.
Hopefully I’ll see you there; hopefully you won’t hear the announcer mention my name in the same sentence as “late start.”
HAHAHA. That ~was~ funny, you have to admit.
I’ll be in pink–pink shirt, black shorts, black arm warmers–and towards the back. This is only my 2nd stand-alone marathon and the first doesn’t really count as it was a very long time ago and was more of a 26.2 mile walk.

Ouch! You’re right Martin, I’m definitely not in your division (although I thought about it a bit more and I can now compete in the appendix-free division as well.) Did the Dr. give you the all clear to ride your bike? How did the commute go today?
Good luck with the ITB. I went into the Rock N’ Roll marathon in San Diego in 05 with ITB issues on both sides. Luckily neither side flared up during the race, but it sure was in the back of my mind the whole time. I hope you make it up here.
Have a great race. I’ve run it the last two years and the weather has been great, so I half expect that this year we’ll have one of those days where it’s in the mid to low 40’s with rain; however, so far it looks like nice weather.
It was funny. I was pretty much laughing as it was happening, but only because it was completely self-inflicted, and still laugh every time I tell the story. I don’t know what part I enjoy telling more, the sleeping the van part or the missing my wave start part. In retrospect, I wonder if I would have been better off, asking, begging, pleading with people to allow me to cut to the front of the porta-potty line? Who knows.
I’ll keep an eye out for you. I hope you have a great race and that you’re able to sleep in a bed the night before!
I will be there, with a bunch of folks from work. Wife is doing the second half in a relay team. Going to try and shoot for a BQ time of 3:30. I blew up last year, so not holding my breathe.

Mike, any of your athletes trying for OT qualifying?
Mike
Where will you be spectating?
