Rolfing massage?

Anyone here had this done? Thoughts vs deep tissue massage? Just curious if anyone has +'s or -'s on the experience. Thanks

I am 4 sessions in to a 10 session series right now. I did the same work 20 years ago. That time I took Polaroids (that was a thing people did 20 years ago) before and after and I can tell you that my body looked noticeable different after the 10 sessions. I was not training or racing back then so I don’t have any sports related data.
This time I didn’t take pictures but I can tell you that I already feel different. I am aware of more independence of movement between my upper torso and my hips, more independence of movement between my hips and my legs.
I should have taken range of movement data points before to compare to after because that is hat I am “feeling” is improving. If it really is happening then I would expect better performance data 6 months or so from now.
I don’t think that it is the same as deep tissue massage.
Should you try it? Dunno. It might in part depend on how well you move already.
I will say that I felt a big change between session 1 and 2 so you could take a flyer on a session, give it a week and see how you feel.
